Hope is a Tape Dispenser

Have you ever tried to find the end of a toilet paper roll in the dark? In the middle of the night when you don’t want to turn on the light and disturb anyone?

Or a piece of clear tape when you are wrapping presents? You go round and round and the end is nowhere to be found. But you don’t give up, do you? Because you know the end is there.

Can I say the same for life? Sometimes its meaning is elusive. You wonder if there is any at all. But there is. Keep searching for it. Don’t give up. It is there.

Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

That is where your hope lies - in the Lord. Seek Him and you will find Him. Don’t give up.
